  • FINALS INFORMATION

If the calendly app isn't working, please click on the document below and find a suitable time and date that suits you both and let Brian know the time and date that you want booked.

    • All matches will be played in the AUL complex - https://g.co/kgs/wgKamNG

    • There is parking on site but you might need to pay for this.

    • Spectators are welcome from competing schools, the onus is on the school to manage behaviour of pupils and parents attending and any abuse to referees or opposition and misbehaviour on the grounds of the AUL is not tolerated and can lead to expulsion from next years competitions and a forfeit of the match.

    • 1. Finals Location

    • All finals are taking place in the AUL Complex - https://g.co/kgs/tkycp1q#

    • 2.  Booking your final

    • All finals are to be booked via the calendly app. See link:

    •  Finals are to be booked in from the 28th of May onwards

    • Please speak to your opposition about what day and time suits and fill in the calendly form above.

    • All kick off times are either 10.30am or 12.30am. This allows for travel arrangements and to allow for extra time etc.

    •

    • 3. Duration of Match

    • As per competition rules, matches are 2 x 30 minute halves and if needed extra time -2 x 10 minute halves followed by penalties.

    •

    • 4. Referees

    • Each school needs to bring €30 cash payable to the referee on the day. Please pay the referee before the game. We will cover the rest of the cost. There will be linesmen and a referee at each of the finals.

    •

    • 5.Match Cards

    • For finals, match cards should be filled out before and given to the referee, it would be useful if one team filled this hand beforehand and give it to the opposition before the match.

    •

    • 6.Match Squads

    • Just a reminder for the finals, that you’re limited to a squad of 16 players for the final.

    •

    • 7.Trophies

    • All trophies are returnable to Seán Murray in March. More details to follow. The onus is on schools to get trophies engraved so please get trophies engraved as the committee doesn’t have time to get them engraved. If you win a trophy and know you will not be in the school next year, please forward on a contact for the return of the trophy.

    •

    • 8.Medals

    • Each squad will receive 20 medals. More medals are available to order off Majella at https://www.acesportsawards.com/

    •

    • 9.Jersey Clashes

    • Please check with opposition beforehand or check the contact list to ensure there are no jersey clashes. I would advise bringing coloured bibs for the subs to wear. It happens more often than you think!

    •

    • 10. Spectators & toilets

    • Spectators are welcome to come and support. There is no charge for spectators to come and watch. The onus is on schools to steward and manage their behaviour if they do attend. Toilet facilities are available to schools but please manage behaviour and leave them as you find them.
