Who organises them?

The competitions are organised and ran by a committee of volunteer school teachers.

What age group are they for?

The competition is an 11 a side competition which caters for boys and girls from 4th -6th class.

What is the structure of the league competition?

The league competition is organised into group stages and regional leagues where schools play in a group stage followed by a semi-final and final depending on the league you are in. We strive to group similar schools together that are located near to each other. However this isn't always possible.

Who organises the fixtures?

Once you receive the fixtures, the onus is on the AWAY TEAM to organise the fixture with their opposition in a timely manner at a time and date that suits both schools. Fixtures need to be fulfilled no later than the date outlined in the fixtures.

The location of the fixture is the responsibility of the home team. Please refer to competition rules for more information.

When do the fixtures take place?

Once schools have received fixtures, each round will have a deadline for which fixtures must be fulfilled. Fixtures normally take place from February onwards.

We ask that all schools have flexibility in the arrangement of fixtures including the possibility that some will be fulfilled during school time.

Please ensure that school management are made aware of this.
